Cowboys are not us! This is definitely not our first rodeo, or yours, however we pride ourselves on being professional, safe, reputable, and reliable. We are female owned and run, and although we work with great men in our team also, we love nothing more than championing other women to fulfil their potential in the manual trades industry.
What started out as one woman’s vision as an apprentice, working one-on-one alongside an established female electrician for 5 years, turned into Amy’s Electrics, headed up by yours truly.
Our work meets the highest standard that we hold ourselves to, on every job, no matter how big or small, always respecting the environment we are working in, especially when that environment is your home.
Our approach is professional, highly organised and systematic, working quickly yet thoroughly and we never compromise on quality or safety. We communicate with you every step of the way, so you always know what we are doing and why.
It’s always a pleasure to work for our lovely clients and the feeling is mutual as we have a loyal following of repeat clients that we move from home to home with, building lasting relationships. Fixing, troubleshooting, testing, refurbishing and growing, our emphasis is always safety and workmanship of the highest quality.

They were friendly, precise, cleaned up after themselves, explained everything they did and went above and beyond by spotting a couple of other errors made by the previous contractors and rectifying them in addition to what I’d specifically called Amy’s out to do. This business charges by the hour but you have never seenelectricians move so fast, therefore the value for money is excellent. They work and communicate like they’re doing open heart surgery where every second counts. Email and SMS communications before and after the appointment were clear and friendly. Pricing was transparent and very good value. They’re inundated with requests, I was lucky enough to get an appointment straight away but if you aren’t able to, I urge you to wait for them, it’ll be worth it.“
